Island Booth at the Market, 30 Aug 201430 Aug 2014 Despite appearances, folks other than our family use the booth :). This week it was farewell to Nana Neen, Pat, and Jaz, and kia orana to Numa and Precious. We helped celebrate a honeymoon, a ‘break with the girls’, and a stopover between Miami and Fiji. Plus a grab-bag of BFFs, birthdays, and family pix.

Junior Spring Ball 2013 - Comic Capers11 Oct 2013 There were plenty of cartoon capers at Rotaract’s 2013 Junior Spring Ball. Super heroes, princesses, secret agents, scientists, and Smurfette all came to take pix. Rotaract also put on competitions, group dance sessions, supper and ice-cream to keep the kids cool. An awesome night - we’ll be sure to bring Aroko with us next year.

Island Booth at the Market, 27 Apr 201327 Apr 2013 Our first market since the addition of Aroko to the IB family :). A pleasantly overcast morning gave us the extra time we needed to get the booth up-and-running. A big meitaki ma’ata to our fellow vendors for their well-wishes and on call baby-minding. Awesome families rock’d the booth this morning. We caught up with some of our regulars. Elsewhere the Iro’s have Cookie league gears back in stock - but selling fast.

Island Booth at the Market, 22 Sept 201222 Sep 2012 Ahhh yes, Spring. Last week we were buffeted by the wind; this weekend - the rain. It was the Round Rarotonga Road Race this morning. That’s where a whole lot of people get up really early and are chased around the island by a group of drummers. We had a few runners and their support crews grab some pix. Exploring the markets was one boother’s strategy to stop from seizing up (post-run). Our Tamariki Yellow backdrop kept the pix sunny, as the lower box of the booth steadily disappeared under water. Meitaki to everyone who brave the elements to visit the booth :).

Island Booth at the Market, 7 Apr 20127 Apr 2012 Second week in our new location near Kia Orana Gifts. This week we had a wedding party from The Edgewater taking in the market vibes before the ceremony; the gang from Esther Honey (animal shelter / veterinary care) checking out our new spot; and a few more curious fellow stall holders putting the booth through its paces. We also received our new sandwich board from Rimatoa - meitaki to August and Deon for the awesome job!

Takitumu Night Market, 1 Mar 20121 Mar 2012 It rained ‘quite a bit’ just before we left home to set-up at the market, but fortunately the evening cleared. This week the market provided a karaoke system to entertain the tamariki while families enjoyed a great range of food.
