  31 Mar 2012 Meitaki maata to the boothers who found us in our new location, and the other stall-holders who made us feel so welcome. We have some great neighbours including the Pearl Lounge, Kia Orana Crafts, Island Crepes, Justine's aunty (Are Mama) and Tornado Potato. On the menu for us this week were new Facebook profile pix, friends over for a long weekend, friends of the family and some sweet quick-change strips.

  28 Mar 2012 A talent showcase tonight at Akaoa with dancing, a performance by Ed from Sweet & Irie and a guest appearance by Brother Love before the Tamariki Manuia fire-dancers wowed the crowds. We continued our competition for Bring Home the Love tickets with a suitably rasta backdrop.

  25 Mar 2012 We helped Justin celebrate his birthday down on Papaaroa beach. The birthday boy was escorted to his guests by quad-bike and given a warrior’s welcome. The afternoon included a slippery-slide into the lagoon, cake, goodie bags, awesome kai kai, balloons, masks and booth-time. Owe-some!

  24 Mar 2012 It was hot down at the market today. We met wedding guests, family groups, holidayers and caught up with some regulars. Our Mike TV glasses and skeleton hands made a brief appearance, but pic of the day goes to the ‘melon-heads’. Special mention to our ‘professional boothers’ - you know who you are :).
