  9 Aug 2014 Back after a break due to the 50km+ trade winds that buffeted the island last week. Plenty of family and friends, friends of the family, and families of friends visited us this morning. Aroko’s appetite for Tuhe’s nu has increased. We missed out on the BBQ chicken so had a grilled fish sandwich instead. Ella returned with Shannon’s mum. Tipo took a post-haircutting pic (in a sweet T from Fresh Local), and we showed Ange, Nick and Taylor around the market.

  7 Sep 2013 This week the girls from Turtles Ts modelled a fresh design. We had some repeat (off-shore) boothers adding to their IB collection. Bemused family were put through their paces / poses and a few students from Te Uki Ou got in practice before we set-up for the school gala (Fri 20th Sept).

  2 Mar 2013 Kia orana! IB back at the market after our Summer break. Just in time for some commemorative pix. We farewelled Jess (aka 'snack-size'), who has been working tirelessly on a range of conservation projects here in the Cooks, including the Shark Sanctuary announced late last year. It was also Geena’s birthday - and second year that we've been on-hand with the booth to mark the occasion. Elsewhere in the market, starfruit (raparapa) are back in season, and our vege man Colin debuted a range of fresh salads.

  16 Aug 2012 A bigger market this week, with a new stalls selling nu (good for kickin’ the ‘flu), pareu wear, plus a great range of food - tasty curries, island-BBQ, the always popular Tornado Potato, poke, and dessert cake.

  28 Apr 2012 The island seemed a bit ‘tender’ this morning - a carry-over from an epic wedding-booth session on Friday night. Early rain had the booth up double-quick - just in time for the weather to clear :). It was a day of dynamic posing - with some sweet solos and duos. We took some great fun family portraits, worked on our baby wrangling skills and helped commemorate holidays, weddings, and renewed friendships.

  25 Aug 2011 It was an epic night at the Vaka Puaikura Concert - showcasing some of the best talent, direct from Te Maeva Nui plus guest appearances by Te Tiare and Arorangi Primary School. We were running the booth as a fundraiser for the Aro'a Nui Hall. Meitaki ma'ata on behalf of the Arorangi community for all your support.
