  4 Jul 2012 Our first Akaoa in a couple of months! Definitely a bit chillier after sunset, but made warmer by great music and a performance tonight by Mii. This was our first official outing for our new Imene Tuki (coral), backdrop - a pretty good match for the sunset colours out West.

  30 Jun 2012 The markets were humming today - might be the extra flights from AU or the lead-up to the school holidays, but we had some big family groups in the booth - some members more willing than others to have their photo taken… ;). We’re also happy to welcome back regular visitors to the Rock who met us last year and tracked us down in our new location (near the Pearl Lounge and Island Crepes). A big meitaki to our regulars who brought family and friends to grab some booth-time. See you all next week.

  23 Jun 2012 …Andy’s lemonade was a nod to when we used to sell cookies and lemonade at the market. Unfortunately, we no longer have an oven - so lemonade it was :). Meitaki to everyone who came to wish us a happy boothday. :)

  21 Jun 2012 Our first Takitumu in a few months - and a fresh start, with new picnic tables, lighting and roadside banners. Visitors took pix, and we kept the market kids entertained. We also photographed new backdrops - this week we added to our collection: FE (iron-grey), Imene Tuki (coral), Aitutaki (bright blue), and Island Ink (purple-blue).
