29 Mar 2014 A lazy market this morning. Aroko directed the booth set-up from his pram - rusk in hand. A few more vendors are now back from Pasifika (perhaps, one day…). Chatted to Fram about his new vanilla extraction plant – using vanilla beans from Atiu. Troy helped with the grocery shopping, we tried Odette’s new coconut pancakes (yom), and rescued Ruru from the leaning-display-stand of tutus.

22 Mar 2014 Back at the market after a cyclone induced break :). More family visiting, honeymooners, wedding guests, and our local fashionistas hit the booth this morning. Rain hit mid-morning and we were flooded a bit - didn’t stop the sweet pix though — but you _can see the rain falling in one or two shots. Finally delivered a personalised Island Booth album to Tayla - this is defn. the best way to keep all yr pix in one place and lookin’ mint.

8 Mar 2014 Uncle Tangiiau’s family were on the Rock for grandson Teariki’s wedding this week — so it was time for some more photos for their fridge. Market-goers were in rare form, enjoying the fine weather, great food, and live entertainment,

22 Feb 2014 We continued our Valentine’s theme today with a few extra props. Love was defn. in the air, with groups on the island for weddings stopping by for pix. We also took some cute pepe shots, fun solos, and regulars rocked our new ‘Pink Breadfruit’ backdrop.
Elsewhere at the market, we picked up some Dragonfruit, Ngarima is back w. his coconut donuts and Ani has been busy printing Ts and art-cards.

15 Feb 2014 The heat-wave continued today, making plenty of time for us to catch up with other vendors. We picked up a coconut oil gift pack from Rito Cook Islands, tried to hustle fellow business-owners to get a pic. (w. variable success), and generally some great shots, aided by our Valentine’s props.
We’ll continue our Valentine’s theme next week, so bring along someone special for some quick pix.

8 Feb 2014 Today we saw the Puna’s, Julz + Tashi, our regulars, plus plenty of hot couples; romancing, holidaying or honeymooning. Actually, it was a bit toooo hot - fried the booth so we had to go home
‘early’ (still, most other vendors were long gone before we were done packing down.)

1 Feb 2014 As we missed the Savage K'lub at the market on Friday, we took turns hanging out at Ani’s hut with Aroko (yes, the markets are a bit quiet at the mo'). No leafy greens to be found w. Colin on holiday, so went for the pesto-aioli-hummus combo from Victoria instead. Took a few pix, and Justine was put through her paces with some monster family shots just before closing time. All goodz :).

25 Jan 2014 We ran through the full gamut of strips today, solos, pix for visitors to the island, annual family portraits, wedding and honeymoon mementos, and some family pix for our fridge. We also bid farewell today to some of our regular boothers, off to further their studies in NZ. We wish them all the best, thanks for rockin’ the booth.

18 Jan 2014 More family antics in the booth this morning, with Sage, Imo and Manea getting their booth on :). It was one of those days when the laughter, giggles (and growls???) coming from our stall startle visitors walking past.
Seems that word is getting out, with more off-shore Cookies hooking up w. us on Facebook .
Meitaki for coming to see us at the market.

11 Jan 2014 The long-awaited rain continued this morning at the market. We abandoned taking photos in favour of digging trenches and building a gravel platform for the booth. Around 10:30 we finished setting up, with Aroko’s backdrop entering active-service. Fotos were taken for visitors to the island, big family groups and (of course), our regular boothers.
Next week we’ll have our Loyalty Cards back in stock - come collect yours.
